WELCOME TO THE BENDIGO YOUTH CHOIR WEBSITE

For nearly a quarter of a century, the Bendigo Youth Choir, Inc. has provided children living in Bendigo and District with the opportunity tp participate in a group which would endeavour to achieve excellence in choral singing, with the aim of producing confident, articulate young people. The choir has a policy of inclusion and is open to all without restriction. Within the group members learn team spirit, discipline and develop self-esteem and self-confidence. They receive excellent vocal training from well-qualified music staff who have a commitment to providing high-quality affordable choral tuition and, to that end, volunteer their services to keep subscriptions to a minimum.

Young people are encouraged to develop personal skills through a love of music. Within this environment the Bendigo Youth Choir has participated in exciting, challenging and worthwhile experiences. They have performed at some wonderful venues and have achieved to International Standard. They have performed throughout Australia and Overseas and, on July 31st, 2006, were named as the winner of the Victorian State Final of the ABC Classic FM Choir of the Year Contest (Youth division).
