The Bendigo Youth Choir is a not for profit organisation, supported by expert music staff who volunteer their time in developing the singing skills of young people, and their life skills in general.
The choir survives on the fundraising efforts of the staff, parents and choir members. This has attracted donations from private families, community organisations such as Rotary, the Y Service Club and grants from philanthropic organisations, some extremely generous companies and Federal, State and Local Government authorities.
These funds enable the choir to keep yearly fees as minimal as possible and are used for venue hire, insurances, music, uniforms, travel and routine operating costs.
